Ken's New Boutique
Ken is excited about the opening of his new boutique, named after his business partner and financial backer. He has consulted Crichton Interiors for the decoration of the new premises. The decor features his signature pattern, houndstooth. A classic black and white scheme has been designed to showcase his collection of designer clothing for both Barbie and Ken. For many years Ken has been sourcing fabrics from around the world to make into classic styled clothes for his friends and now he is finally launching the House of Maxwell, Premier Collection and his Metropolis Collection. All Ken's clothes are made using the finest silks, wools and cottons and are designed for the adult collector. Ken takes his inspiration from the elegance of the 1960s and the romanticism of the 1970s to make clothes to suit vintage and modern dolls. Each garment is unique, finished with specially sourced trims and notions.
Ken makes his shirts from Swiss cottons and Liberty of London Tana Lawn and his suits from fine worsted wools.
